Meet some of the supporters and leaders of our organization.


Shalena Cook Jones is the current chair of the Chatham County S.A.L.T. Council. Shalena is an assistant district attorney in the Chatham County D.A.'s office and is the elder abuse prosecutor for Chatham County.


FIRST NAME was looking for something to do after she retired. The Chatham County SALT Council has provided an opportunity to share her expertise and give back to her community in a meaningful way.


FIRST NAME is a successful businessman from Brunswick. Many of our projects would not have been possible without his help.

Support Us

The Chatham County SALT Council represents a cooperative effort between seniors in the community, law enforcement, AARP, and professionals in the aging field. The Council acts as an advocacy/advisory group and provides a forum for the exchange of information for the purpose of crime prevention and safety of seniors.

Monthly Meetings 

S.A.L.T meets the second Thursday of each month at 11:00am, at Savannah Commons, Independent Living Dining Room located at 1 Peachtree Drive.
